This piece has the foundation level of the pages from the book of Genesis. It’s then wrapped with paper, painted and drawn on. The hamsa portrait visually explores what it means to be made in the “likeness of God”. Touching on the subject matters of gender, sexuality, and religious persecution. I’m interested in questioning if “God is in everything” why wasn’t there room for many images of mankind in creation? I’m interested in addressing social and inner acceptance with this piece.
